The Alexandra Anderson Intersection Proposal was developed based on the need to improve the conditions of a particular assigned site. Located near schools, tourist destinations and a major road way, the main focus of this proposal was to improve pedestrian safety and produce a new plaza for the site.
Considering the natural, network social and constructed systems, the final outcome was produced through an extensive developmental process, providing an understanding of how people used the site, and what they wanted to see in the future.
The final outcome is a public square, allowing seamless pedestrian and bike connections to the river, Botanical Gardens and other connection points.
