Extra Sites

Kirrill Koslof Award for Design Excellence: Runner-Up Extra Sites focuses on an investigation of a series of undeveloped sites within both Metropolitan Melbourne and Greater Melbourne with the intention to design and construct a permanent house for a homeless person (Extra Home) at a 1 in 100 instance. The following projects are situated in Carlton, Fitzroy, with the same principle applied at a greater scale in Keilor North, and have be designed to be responsive to its immediate context, yet be reproducible across multiple locations.
